The breadth and depth of the Library’s collections are an unrivalled record of the UK’s cultural heritage, bringing inspiration and enjoyment to all. Its popular cultural programme includes imaginative exhibitions, stimulating events and practical skills workshops. International partnerships build bridges and share its unique resources worldwide.
The British Library hosts two major exhibitions every year in the PACCAR Gallery, plus a range of free exhibitions in the Folio Society Gallery. The Treasures of the British Library are on permanent display free of charge.
We also run a learning programme for children and adults, with both on-site and online activities, and a popular events programme.
