Take home a masterpiece!
The British Library has launched a new website in association with Magnolia Box to provide customised prints featuring beautiful and iconic images from the Library’s archives. From the Magna Carta to Fay Godwin’s striking black and white landscapes, anyone can now choose an iconic fine art print to hang in their home at www.bl.uk/prints.
Opening up the vast range of the British Library’s collection items, the prints available include images from past and present British Library exhibitions, such as gold-covered illustrations from medieval royal manuscripts and exquisite hand drawn maps. Also available are gems from the British Library archives, from Victorian circus posters, advertising the freakish and bizarre, to classic 1920’s fashion images.
The images can all be bought as framed and unframed fine art prints, canvases, postcards and greetings cards and are available from the new British Library Prints website (www.bl.uk/prints) or via the kiosk located in the British Library Shop. Simply place your order and the art will be delivered to your home.
